Bio
Meegan Farrell was a painter, printmaker, and ceramicist, born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. She received her BFA from the University of Chicago and attained an MFA in printmaking at the University of Wisconsin in 1986. There she apprenticed under Warrington Colescott, and continued to work for him after graduating.
Throughout her artistic career, Meegan mastered various mediums, ranging from oil pastel to functional ceramics. Her work reveals an intense insight into human voyeurism and naive fundamentals. She applied an acute level of craftsmanship and visceral intricacy to each of these mediums, building a diverse body of work that lives on as timeless and distinctive pieces.
